We understand that seeing a podiatrist for the first time can feel unfamiliar. Our aim is to make your experience clear, comfortable and reassuring from the moment you book.

Whether you are attending for pain, injury, a skin or nail problem, or a specialist assessment, you can expect professional care, clear explanations and a personalised plan tailored to you.

We are a team of podiatrist and when you see one of us you are getting the experience of the whole team. We have over 100 years of clinical experience between us.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment

Your initial appointment is focused on understanding your concerns and providing clarity.

Before Your Appointment

To help us get the most from your visit, please:

  • Bring a list of all your medication
  • Arrive a few minutes early to enable you to find parking in the market car park and fill in any forms not filled in online before the appointment.
  • Bring previous reports or imaging if you have them
  • Wear or bring footwear you use regularly
  • Bring running shoes if attending for gait analysis

No special preparation is needed unless advised.

After Your Appointment

Following your appointment you may receive:

  • Treatment on the day if appropriate
  • A clear explanation of your diagnosis
  • Advice on exercises, footwear or activity
  • A treatment plan outlining next steps
  • Recommendations for follow-up if needed

We focus on giving you clarity and confidence rather than rushing decisions.

We take a conservative, evidence-based approach and do not recommend treatment unless it is likely to benefit you.

  • Referral for further investigation if required

Appointment length varies depending on the service booked and will be confirmed when you book. A new patient appointment typically lasts 30-45 minutes.

Yes. We treat patients of all ages.

If you are unable to book a same-day appointment online. Please call us during our opening hours and we might be able to find a way of fitting you in if Urgent.

We will carry out a thorough assessment of your feet and your issue. Present treatment options and a plan to help you get better. Where possible treatment will be provided on the day of the appointment.
