Therapists: Annie Boak

Nutritional Therapy aims to change an individual’s metabolism from an imbalanced state – which may be causing minor to distressing symptoms and which may ultimately lead to diagnosable disease – to a state of balance, allowing the body to return to optimum health.

Nutritional status can of course impact on health and fitness. The aim of Nutritional Therapy is to alleviate the symptoms of poor health, without solely treating the symptoms.  When a client presents with a particular condition (e.g. digestive/ hormonal/cardiovascular/skin problems, difficulty conceiving, arthritis, etc.) I will try to discover what may be causing the distress (known as the naturopathic method), rather than just treating the symptoms themselves (the allopathic method)

Qualified Nutritional Therapists will be registered with BANT (The British Association for Nutritional Therapy), which ensures that the Practitioner’s qualifications and training are of the appropriate standard.
