Delva Shamley

Physiotherapy

Delva qualified in South Africa in 1986 and has worked in South Africa and England.

Most of her career has involved clinical work and teaching. She has worked as a musculoskeletal specialist for GPs in England acting as the first point of contact for all musculoskeletal complaints.

She currently treats patients for many of the orthopaedic consultants in Oxford and some in Berkshire. She is involved in the development of injury free training programmes for Oxford University/Brookes University Elite cricketers and treats many patients from the sporting clubs and teams of Oxford.

She has a passion for practice and a strong belief in continuing education and the role of research in informing practice.
