Each of our therapists is a member of the governing body for their respective qualification and is a member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Jenney Klose

Jenney was originally from Zimbabwe and also lived in South Africa for many years where she was involved in running the family business. She qualified as a podiatrist from the University College Northampton in 2004. She worked full-time for the NHS immediately after qualifying, gaining valuable experience in treating the “At Risk” foot, before moving into Private Practice.

In 2007 she purchased Feet First “established in 2004” which she has developed into a reputable medical centre for foot health care, expanding the business. Jenney enjoys all aspects of podiatry and offers many specialist treatments. She is qualified to perform nail surgery and podiatric acupuncture. She is a prescribing podiatrist and has a special interest in dermatology.

Jenney has had a lifelong interest in the mind/body connection and believes that mind and body are intrinsically linked and that our thoughts create our realities. She is a qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist trained by Trevor Silvester, one of the pioneering figures in this field at the Quest Institute in London. This Diploma course is a joint certification, offering a qualification in Hypnotherapy, and a practitioner certification in NLP.

Sue Beynon

Sue spent a number of years working in publishing until she went for a complete career change and decided to study podiatry at Southampton University, where she graduated with first class honours.

In addition to working at Feet First, Sue works part-time in the NHS and therefore has particular experience of treating the feet of people with diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and other conditions which have implications for foot health. She also enjoys the more varied podiatry case load at Feet First.

Elizabeth Carrington

Elizabeth graduated from the London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatric medicine in 1990 and continued her postgraduate education reading Podiatric Studies at the University of Brighton. After qualifying, Elizabeth worked in the NHS for 10 years, in London and Sussex, as lead podiatrist in orthopaedics and rheumatology.

Elizabeth has since worked extensively in multidisciplinary private practices and enjoys the wide scope of practice. After spending some time as a stay-at-home mum, Elizabeth returned to practice, joining Feet First in 2014.

Iwona Dorn

Iwona grew up in Poland and Germany. Having worked for a number of years crunching numbers in the financial sector, she eventually decided to pursue a more people-orientated career. Iwona qualified as a podiatrist at the University of Brighton in 2014 and subsequently spent time volunteering for a number of podiatry clinics in India and Singapore. She qualified to perform podiatric acupuncture and mobilisation. In addition, she is studying towards a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy as she is keen to specialise in Podiatric Biomechanics. Iwona keeps up to date with the latest techniques and research by regularly attending seminars and workshops. Currently Iwona works part-time as Band 6 for NHS in London and one day a week at Feet First.

Sara Edwardes

Sara graduated from the Plymouth School of Chiropody in 1987 and worked full time for the NHS in Cornwall before relocating to Morayshire where she continued to work for the NHS.

In 1994 Sara moved to Lincolnshire where she worked both for the NHS and as a locum in private practice. In 1998 Sara converted her Diploma to a degree in Podiatric medicine at the University of Salford and for the past 20 years has run a successful domiciliary practice.

Having relocated once again Sara is looking forward to joining the team at Feet First.

Sara has 2 grown up children and loves spending weekends away with her husband in their Camper Van.

Nicola has undertaken various customer-focused roles involving administration, including running her own business in South West France for six years. She joined the team at Feet First in March 2015.

Caroline has held an administration role in the NHS for many years, before joining Feet First in 2014.
